Lorsque Marithé m’a appelé je me dirigeais vers Peyriac-Minervois à la recherche de vieilles enseignes dans les villages, « Allo, Eric Cabanis ? ». J’ai failli répondre Oui comme le photographe mais je ne savais pas qui était à l’autre bout du fil, « Oui c’est moi« . « Bonjour, je suis Marithé du Iso Festival de Vendémian et nous avons un problème avec un photographe qui a un lumbago. » Je me suis dit d’accord, j’ai compris, me voilà bouche-trous maintenant ! « Nous souhaitons vous inviter si c’est possible pour vous« . Ok j’ai dit attendez, je me gare et je regarde sur le GPS combien de temps il me faut….Je serai  là vers 16H00. C’était jeudi, le festival se tenait le weekend suivant.

When Marithé called me I was heading towards Peyriac-Minervois in search of old shop signs in the villages, « Allo, Eric Cabanis ?« . I almost answered, Yes like the photographer but I didn’t know who was on the other end of the line, « Yes it’s me« . « Hello, I’m Marithé from the Iso Festival de Vendémian and we have a problem with a photographer who has a lumbago. » I said to myself, Okay, I understand, now I am a filler. « We would like to invite you if this is possible for you« . Ok I said wait, I park and look on the GPS how long it takes me…I’ll be there around 4:00 pm. It was Thursday, the festival was the following weekend.
